The Wonder Of You

Ahhh, the wonders of life. There are so many life experiences to be had, which are filled with excitement, joy, and wonderment. But is it any wonder that the world is currently experiencing record levels of fear, anxiety, depression and loneliness? Is it any wonder that ever increasing numbers of people are unsatisfied with both themselves and their life? Is it any wonder that across the globe there is a swell of pessimism amongst all demographics about their future?

What is it to wonder? What is it to allow ourselves to experience this deep seated mental, emotional, and spiritual feeling? What is it to unexpectedly uncover and embrace as much as we can humanly see, hear and touch? What is it to utilise our innate creative and imaginative energy to breathe in the joy of this astounding experience, and gaze gratefully in wonder?

To ‘wonder’ is to experience feelings of curiosity, fascination and awe. These are the blessings we receive when we witness the magic of untamed wonderment. We feel excited, surprised, astonished and even amazed by what we have just discovered. This leads us to ponder over our feelings of what we recognise on a deeper soul level as a truly remarkable life experience.

Post any eye-opening event or occurrence we may find it almost impossible to simply forget what was revealed. We may feel obligated to ponder over such an enlightening experience for many days, weeks, and even years afterwards. We now have a great need to continue to explore our feelings of anticipation before, during and after the event, with a thirst and intense desire to discover more. And quite rightly so.

This is the highly effective beauty of wonderment. For us to be caught off guard by the realisation and admiration for what we never knew existed, and allow ourselves to be guided towards a new reality. This is a place where we are encouraged to seek with fresh eyes and an open heart. Here, we are permitted to accept and embrace a free mind, where knowledge and understanding of the previously unknown can be sought, dissected, and either accepted into our reality, or discarded at will.

It costs us absolutely nothing and minimal effort to ‘wonder’ because this is exactly what we are naturally designed to do. Our purpose in life as highly intelligent and evolved humans is to search and uncover. We are given the breath of life with the natural urge, yearning, and desire to wonder, seek, and find. But our ability to carry out this divine order is being suppressed by our impatience, and eagerness for instant pleasure. And this is a pleasure that is not only instant in its arrival, but equally as instant in its departure.

No wonder so many people are unhappy and unsatisfied with their life. We are currently living in a world where almost everything is consistently in full view. Everything is now laid bare before our eyes, in an intentional attempt to prevent us from looking behind the obvious, and searching deeper. We are being distracted by the what is being perceived as the obvious answers, while the truth of the matter and the real solutions, resolutions and conclusions we are seeking, are hidden behind the illusionary veil.

People are too busy doing a whole lot of nothing much, disguised as living. There is so much going on both directly in front of our eyes and also indirectly out of our view, which is eating up our precious minutes, hours, and days. People are losing their sense of wonderment, because they are focusing their time and energy elsewhere. The time, space, and allure to ‘wonder’ is being restricted and replaced. Our innate gift of childlike excitement, vulnerability, and surprise for hidden and unfiltered knowledge of the world has receded. Our innate drive to use our visionary and imaginationary abilities to expand our mind with thoughts and questions designed to elevate and inspire the who, what, where. how and why of life, is dwindling fast.

If we are amiss the experiences of this world of wonder then we are unconsciously agreeing to become wonderless. Through our lack of wonder we are denying the never-ending life experiences, where the ultimate key to a fruitful life is within ponderation, deliberation, consideration, and contemplation. Embracing our authentic and wonderful nature, does not mean we must aim to seek and find the answers to everything. Even partial light shone in the shade can quite often be more than enough to encourage us to look a little closer and expand our thoughts. In this state of curiosity we can follow our natural instincts to both seek and be led by our internal guidance.

There is nothing humanity has not created without first engaging with their gift of wonderment. Absolutely everything we see, touch, hear, smell, and taste, has been made manifest through the divine energy of pre-thought and wonder. Our extraordinarily, intellectual and limitless visionary knowledge of hindsight, insight and foresight, equips us with the natural desire and ability to want to know and create more. When we allow our heart, our mind, and our spirit to ‘wonder’ our soul is reignited with a passion to seek even more truth, as we are engulfed with a protective sense of purpose, and inner peace.

We are denying ourselves the ultimate aim of discovering ourselves. Every human being is a wonder to be hold. Our physical, mental, and spiritual being is an achievement which cannot be diminished or denied. Our first and second mind of both the spiritual and the physical allows us to imaginatively create whatever experience we choose to, both internally and externally. We must reconnect back to our younger disillusioned selves and begin again. We need to unlearn and release the restrictions we have accepted as our truths. We can relearn, reawaken, and resurrect our spirit to the wonders of this world. And not just the seven known earthly wonders of our planet, but the magical, mystical and spiritual wonder which is us.
